Join us for a Fix290 Forum at 7 PM, Tuesday evening, July 31, at the ACC Pinnacle Campus as Bruce Melton, our civil engineer, explains drawings of the Fix290 parkway and how it stacks up with other proposed designs.
TxDOT has at long last produced a design based on the Fix290 Concept. Granted that it is in competition with 4 or 5 other TxDOT designs for Highway 290/71 W, but it is more than we have ever had before.
Bruce is about to leave on an expedition to the Greenland ice cap, but he promises first to give us the design presentation and answer questions.
Timing is critical because this highway project is scheduled for a vote in October and an changes to the plan should be submitted by Friday, August 3. (We’ll explain all this as well.)
See you all Tuesday evening at ACC, Room 108!

Will Oak Hill be divided by an elevated toll road? Cities across the country are tearing down ugly gray elevated highways that divide and blight neighborhoods. Why should we build one through Oak Hill?
TxDOT is about to reveal its new designs and Oak Hill needs to be ready. This is the time to join together in our fight for a parkway!
Attend our meeting for Oak Hill supporters of the Fix290 movement and help us organize for the campaign ahead.
